The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organization for educational opportunities and cultural relations. British Council works in cultural relations and focuses on building understanding, trust and dialogue between cultures. It works towards creating opportunity for people to participate in the creative and knowledge economy to aim at:

2. Developing a wider knowledge of the English language; encouraging cultural, scientific, technological and other
3. educational co-operation between the United Kingdom and other countries;
4. Promoting the advancement of education.
